My passion for cooking sparked at the young age of 5 years old. It was probably more of a curiosity at first and I instantly became intrigued. At the age of 17, I found myself leading a career path in the hospitality industry. I quickly dove into every position, picking up a multitude tricks of the trade. I've traveled all over Eastern Europe, working and experiencing European bars, restaurants and hotels. Over a span of five years, I was immersed into the fine dining European culinary scene with experiences mainly in Eastern Europe and landing lastly in Poznan, Poland.
It is there I found Michelin Bib Gourmand award winning Chef Michale Kuter. I worked as a line cook at his lovely establishment A Noz Widelc and found such inspiration in the gastronomic world. He truly reinspired me and taught me that,
"There is no ceiling in the culinary world."
I studied in the Culinary Arts program at Tidewater Community College and have been featured in publications such as Food and Beverage Magazine, Stroll and awarded First place in 2023 East Coast She Crab Classic in Virginia Beach, VA.
A dedication to learn from others has driven to the creation of Entre Nous (a French derived term defined as between us or in confidence). My experiences have allowed me to artistically express my admiration for food and the ability to intrigue the senses on a more intimate level. I love being involved within the community and incorporating locally sourced herbs, vegetables, oils and meats into my menus.
Creating an intimate dinner that is appetizing and appealing to the senses. I explain each dish and where my thought process came from in it's creation. Sharing a meal together is not only about the meal at hand, but the experience of it.
